A Funky Combo

GemVibes is a groovy and flamboyant Singapore-based five-piece fusion band with members from diverse backgrounds. Inspired by internet-popular bands such as Pomplamoose and Scary Pockets, GemVibes plays novelty covers of old and new popular songs. Their sound is a cool fusion of funk, jazz, blues, pop, R&B and soul. 

The band was formed by vocalist Vivian Lim and guitarist Affandy. They were soon joined by wonderful and talented musicians Ben Jacob Lee on the keyboard, Irwan on drums and John Paul Kwan on bass, gracing the band with a similar relish of music and chemistry. Get ready to have a fun grooving time with GemVibes and their funky fusion covers of literal music to your ears!
